ecNet is comprised
of two components: ecNet Client and ecNet
Server. ecNet Client, which is automatically
downloaded and installed as soon as you connect to the
ecNet Server, runs entirely in your web browser.
It uses the industry standard TWAIN interface to capture
documents from desktop scanners or other TWAIN compliant
input devices. ecNet Client is easy to use and
requires little or no training.
With eCapture and
ecNet, you control how your document capture process
is implemented.

your web browser is used to manage the central ecNet
Server. You define scanning profiles that determine
the method of document capture. If indexing of
documents is allowed, scanning profiles determine which

addition, scanning profiles ensure that remote sites
adhere to standards set forth by the organization.
