OLD DOMINION DATA SYSTEMS TO OFFER OPTICAL MARK RECOGNITION PRODUCT
ROANOKE, VA — 03.29.04 — Bill Jennings, President of Old Dominion Data Systems announced today that ODDS-Document Management is expanding its document management offerings to include Optical Mark Recognition. ODDS has been approved by Principia Products to resell Remark Office OMR. Remark's Optical Mark Recognition capabilities bring a robustness to ODDS' document management and data capture offerings. With the addition of Remark to our portfolio of products and services, we will be able to provide a broad spectrum of products and services to benefit any organization or company from small not-for-profit organizations, to governmental agencies, to large business and even to Fortune 100 corporations.
We will be further expanding our capabilities in this strategic area to better leverage our strengths and to enhance the productivity and efficiency of our clients. Part of our plan for OMR technology is to offer outsourcing of customer response services using OMR processing. We envision this to include both mail and fax processing. from a single vendor, our clients can develop customer satisfaction feedback surveys, or other OMR tools, and enjoy the one-to-one contact with their customers and data collection that OMR gives without investing large sums in software, hardware and staffing.
